Welcome to wise & sacred

The Teachings

There is so much joy, love, sensuality and pleasure available to us. However we don’t find the sacredness in so many aspects of our everyday lives.

I have been blessed to receive teachings in several areas of life that I’d like to share with you.

We live in a world where major life events are not acknowledged or processed. You are expected to buck up and move on, or your situation can be glossed over and ignored.

If we look back to our ancestors, they knew so much about the natural world and our place in it. They knew how to care for one another, and lived in symbiosis with mother earth’s seasons and cycles. Women were in touch with the moon and their menstrual cycles. They were revered and not shamed for their bleed and had needed time to rest and feel emotions in a sacred space in the village called the Red Tent.

You are a Divine being, part of this Universe. Your gifts are uniquely yours and are needed, whatever they may be. They are yours to discover and give. Learning to be WISE - to connect to your innate wisdom, is the key to this.

Let’s Discover Your Wise & Sacred Nature!

At the Heart of It

As spiritual beings living a human life, I’ve been searching for more meaning and more connection in my life. In my journeys I’ve found connection to three interconnected life themes that I would like to share with you.

SELF-LOVE

Before knowing what self-love was, I never knew WHO I was. Once I could start knowing WHO I was, I could start giving myself space and experiences to fill up my life with love, thus having more love to give to my family and others. So often our “selves” don’t get a say in what we want. When you learn to include yourself in your conversations and with compassion as you give others, your Divinity becomes apparent.

SACRED SEASONS

As our sacred womanly cycles align with the moon phases, Earth-based spirituality connects our lives with the cycles and seasons of the Earth…celebrating and creating rituals around the Solstices and Equinoxes, New and Full Moons. The elements that exist within each of us - Fire, Earth, Wind, Water and Spirit. There is much we can learn from nature as we can align our lives and our work around the rhythms of Mother Earth.

sacred SENSUALITY

We need to slow down to accentuate and listen to all of our senses - touch, taste, scent, sight, sound and emotions. If we really take time to smell and savor the taste of the fresh food we are eating, where it was grown, how it was came from the earth, to notice the miracle of that food and how it sustains us…we begin to notice more connection in our lives as we navigate life through our senses.

ADDITIONAL TEACHINGS

Supportive Methodologies

With the three main themes that Wise & Sacred embodies, some ideals and methods that support these themes include meditation, boundary setting, energy awareness and chakras, art projects and painting, and the use of Mother Earth’s tools such as herbs, essential oils and crystals. While I am not an expert at using these tools, I will share any wisdom that I learn with you about these topics as they are loving and supportive tools.

Women Supporting Women

As women, our lives are rapidly becoming more empowered. We are more in charge of our lives, our money, our joy and our pleasure. We are eliminating the needs to be pleasing to others in order to survive. With love and awareness, we can help one another grow and evolve during this time. We can hold conversations about what is holding us back, what dreams we have and how to pursue them. Wise & Sacred offers a community of women to witness your dreams and support and encourage you to take steps to move toward your deepest fulfillment.

We are not meant to be tamed, to be domesticated. We are wild, brilliant creations of Mother Earth, meant to taste, smell, breathe and live every aspect of life. We are meant to feel the sun with our bare skin, the ground with our bare feet and love with our bare hearts.
